FINAL PROJECT: STOP MOTION
01.04.19 (Week 1)
We had briefed about what we would do for final project. We had to search for 3 stop motion videos online and explain why we like it.

I like this video because of what material that they used. Some part of the video had a real material (like cloth) while they used clay for the characters. I'm amazed because I felt that it's hard to keep the shape of the part exactly the same (or not), and the place looked small.
2. Stop Motion 2013 [HD] Podi Style: Breakfast by Podifilm

I like how they kept it simple and there's the difference between the real material (like the ingredients) and the drawing and few surreal transitions. And it's interesting.
3. Lost & Found by Andrew Goldsmith

For this one, I really like it because they seem so realistic as stuffed animals. They also made a good job there (like when the fox come out from the water, there're only some parts that it got wet) which teach us about sacrifice and loss. Even though it didn't have any dialogues, we could understand and see their expression clearly.
After that, we were told to write one paragraph of our final project. The theme is "I Dreamed a Dream" with one minute duration or less.
I thought that every person had a different dream about what they want to do, what they looked like and so on. So, I was thinking to show how's people (if possible, I will use figure) wanted to be and they tried to do it but they failed and failed. At the end, they ended up doing different or similar thing and they proud of it.
06.05.19 (Week 6)
We were told that we could partner up with someone from our class or end up alone and I chose alone. We were told that if we didn't partner with anyone else then we needed to do minimal a 30 seconds video.
So at first, I went with my idea which was by using Beargguy from Gundam but then after I getting feedback, I tried to change my story again.
13.05.19 (Week 7)
I changed my story into a new one but then after getting feedback again, I changed the entire story into a simple story.

After getting feedback again, I added some things more into the slides.
I also bought some boards from Popular for the settings.
03.06.19 (Week 10)
For this week, I continued to find some props for the settings.
10.06.19 (Week 11)
I did the filming this week about 3-4 days, I used tripod that I got from Miniso and app called Stop Motion Studio. Here's what I'd done:
At this point, I still edited the photos by using Photoshop so that I could cover up some part that I didn't want to show or some mistakes that I did while I filmed it.
17.06.19 (Week 12)
After getting feedback, I went back to the studio to film more. But on the half way of filming, I accidentally broke one of the arm. Here's the link to the photo:
24.06.19 (Week 13)
At this week, I succeeded compile the photos without the sound. I also did the color correction in Adobe Premiere Pro.
01.07.19 (Week 14)
After that, I edited the sound in Adobe Audition.

I tried to ask feedback from both lecturers, then I changed some of the audio too.
FEEDBACK
13.05.19 (Week 7)
Specific feedback: Mr. Martin told me that my story is too serious to be done in 30 seconds and it until had a moral lesson behind the story.
27.05.19 (Week 9)
Specific feedback: Mr. Razif told me that I needed to use many sound effects for the video.
10.06.19 (Week 11)
Specific feedback: Both lecturers told me to add some photos more for the fighting scene because fighting scene is the climax and then they also suggested that maybe I could change the ending, rather than it slept again, maybe I could change it into it stand still and shocked and also some color correction.
01.07.19 (Week 14)
Specific feedback: Mr. Razif said that the sound is a bit messy and doesnt brings the visual to life that well, he also gave me some example of what he meant and the audio of it:
