INSTRUCTIONS
MINOR PROJECT
Week 01
Mr. Mike guided us with the instruction for this module, he also provided us the slides of the project topics. Before the class ended, we were asked to form teams where I chose Teach for Malaysia (it's the only team left).
Since there was no briefing for some of the projects, including ours, we were tried to do research on our own.
Week 02
Mr. Mike showed us some videos about Design Thinking where it showed that people could come up with solutions that can help other's problems, and still, we did more research about Teach for Malaysia.
Week 03
This week, Mr. Mike introduced us to the Miro Board since it can help us communicate each other easily in the real time.
Our ideas that we'd written down in the Miro Board.
Week 04
We organized our ideas and thoughts on the Miro Board yet turned out we misunderstood the meaning of "non-profit" organization.
We sorted out our ideas based on the docs that had been provided and came out with interview questions
Week 05
We had done an online interview yet we still need more information for some questions, hence we were advised to have follow-up questions.
Week 06
Since we needed to do more research and gain more information, we decided to watch and observe TFM youtube videos. Here is their youtube channel.
Week 07
We did and showed the Problem Statement. Since most of us might not familiar with the customer map journey so we needed Arissa's help to do it. Other than that, we also prepared to do slides in order to propose our ideas to Mr. Kevin.
Week 08
There's no class for this week yet we continued doing the slides and the customer journey map.
Week 09
We fixed the slides since we misunderstood in making it. Needed to fix it quickly so we can move on by start doing the art direction.
Week 10
No class for this week either. We presented our slides to Mr. Kevin.
Week 11
There's a disapproval of the proposed creative strategy. Since we are running out of time, we were told to send an email to him where hopefully he reply as soon as possible.
Week 12
We started sorting down the question that might be faced by the people and after that we continued by doing a script. We chose Yum Yum Videos as our visual reference.
During that week, I helped doing a few storyboards.
Week 13
Me and Helen decided to divide the script into 3 parts so that each part can have more details and informations.
This is what we mainly plan to do, since each script has more details and long, we finally decided to go with the short video.
Week 14
After receiving the newest version of the storyboard, I started to illustrate my parts quickly since we're running out of time. Since the animation team is having struggles to separate the layers, I decided to help them.
